Menu Plan Monday, April 9

We hope you had a wonderful Easter celebration with your families.  Everywhere I look today I see cute pics of kids in their Easter best, so here’s one of our crew! :)

We only have 15 days until we are on a plane heading for the U.S.!  I haven’t even begun to pack, make shopping lists, or prepare for our trip.  It definitely hasn’t hit me that we are leaving so soon!

We are doing our best to stay out of the grocery store for everything that isn’t produce between now and the time we leave and to finish what we already have in the house.  I went through our freezer today and listed out everything that we have that should be used up before we go.  The meals listed below are most of what we will eat for the next 2 weeks.  We’ll make an emergency trip to the store if we need to, but I’m hoping that we’ll be able to make do with what we have.

Breakfast:
Cereal
Granola
Waffles
Biscuits, Eggs, and Bacon

Lunches:
Pizza
Mushroom Soup
Freezer Burritos
Hot Dogs
Chicken Salad Sandwiches

Dinners:
Pizza x2 w/ Chicken Wings
Hamburgers and Hot Dogs w/ French Fries
Tomato Soup w/ Grilled Cheese Sandwiches
Queso with Tortilla Chips
Tacos
Lasagna w/ Focaccia Bread
Honey Chicken Kebobs
Spaghetti and Meatballs

What are you eating this week?

  1. Such a sweet picture of your gang! So, I’m thinking next week’s menu plan should have a lot of frozen jiaozi on it.

Thanks, Carrie! Frozen jiaozi is a definite possibility. We have a retreat the weekend before we leave, so that’s two less days of meals. We always seem to have more than we can finish before we leave. I’m trying to plan well so that we don’t.
