About Stacey

I am a woman, helper to my husband, former teacher, and stay-at-home mom to 4 little ones. My family grew from one child to four in 12 months after getting pregnant with twins when my second child was 4 months old!  I’m figuring out this journey day by day and have learned a lot about myself along the way. I am more practical and task-driven than I thought. In a freak-out moment, I ask practical questions. When I’m whining to my husband, I want to know what to do. I get energized by clear tasks that help me in the processes in my home.  I spend most of my time in my newly organized laundry room and the kitchen, trying to figure out how to cook and clean more efficiently.  I am not a chef but I like to try new recipes.  I am a rule follower and thrive off a daily schedule and monthly budget, though I don’t always follow them perfectly!

And as it’s true that there is nothing new under the sun, most everything I do is an idea I got from someone else. We all need help. We need each other. The pressure’s off to figure it all out by yourself.  I think I have the smartest friends and family and the strongest community I’ve ever seen. I couldn’t have done this alone and I can’t keep going if I’m on my own either. So, this is a place to share all the ideas and helps that have gotten me through all these crazy days and hopefully, to get more ideas to keep going.
